| Fleet Division Rules for 2007 | |||||||||||
| Events | |||||||||||
| Rank based on the performance over the four most recent events for any competitor discarding the worst result | |||||||||||
| 50 points are awarded to 1st place, 49 to 2nd etc | |||||||||||
| The top 40% of any entries at an event are placed in Gold – the ranking list is used for this. | |||||||||||
| The next 30% are Gold 2 and the remainder are Silver | |||||||||||
| The numbers are rounded up for Gold and Gold 2. See Munsters 2006 example. | |||||||||||
| 40% of 41 is 16.4 but this is rounded up to 17 | |||||||||||
| The fleet division is done after all boats have registered | |||||||||||
| Boats that are unknown / racing for the first time are automatically put in Gold except at the discretion of the committee | |||||||||||
| A tie break will be broken first by the number of results counted. For example a boat counting 3 results will | |||||||||||
| rank higher than a boat counting one result on the same points. | |||||||||||
| A tie break will be broken secondly by looking at the discarded race. | |||||||||||
| Travellers Trophy | |||||||||||
| The total fleet that raced in the year is divided in the split 40/30/30 as above but at the end of the season. | |||||||||||
| the Travellers Tropy prizes are awarded to the top boats in each fleet. | |||||||||||
