l Les nouvelles du Nord
Voici les nouvelles du Nord.Last year has been a rather successful year. Clontarf Yacht and Boat Club has had its biggest fireball fleet in a long time. CYBC fireballs have not only shone by their numbers, but by their results too with a 4th, 5th, 7th and 11th place at the traveller's trophy in the Gold Fleet and a 2nd, 4th and 15th place in the Silver Fleet.
As well as that the local races have seen great racing on the water with no boat clearly "walking on water" this year...
This has been the result of hard work put by few but particularly to two brothers in arms... So, I think it's only fair to say "thank you to the Clarke for their dedication and hard work".
This year more than ever, the Clontarf fireball fleet will be one to watch out for as we won't be here just for cruising! As they say : "We'll be back..."
Also this year sees one of the Traveller's trophy race been organised in Clontarf, at the CYBC so we’re looking forward to see you all there in August.
Sur ce, Slán...
