The 2016 Fireball World Championships will be held from the 4th to the 16th December 2016 and proudly hosted by the Mossel Bay Yacht Club. With its exceptional weather, picturesque location and exceptional ocean conditions, Mossel Bay is rated as one of South Africa's best sailing venues. The 2016 Fireball Worlds presents sailors with the unique opportunity to sail in this a world class event in Mossel Bay while experiencing the warm hospitality and diversity of South Africa.
The World Championship will be a 10 race series, with 2 races sailed in the afternoons. Coupled to the racing there will be a full social program for both sailors and supporters. The World Championships will be immediately preceded by a pre Worlds Championships, for an opportunity to get used to the conditions and enjoy two full weeks of sailing.
