Sailing:

The waters are perfectly suited to speedy fireball sailing with good seabreezes blowing from the ocean through the entrance and great lake flatter water sailing!

Racing is scheduled from Thursday 28th January - Monday 1st February 2027.
Racing will be back to back races each day with Race 1 on 28th being an invitation / Practice race.

We are endeavouring to host a training session on Wednesday 27th January if you can make it there a day early to participate.

Social:

Our hosts at Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club have suggested an enjoyable social program, with a good mix of local venues and yacht club hosted events. See more about their club at their facebook site.

• Welcome dinner 28 Jan. TBC along with venue (maybe Old Pub).
• Pizza Night mid regatta. Venue (likely the clubhouse).
• Presentation option of Grazing Platters or sit down meal likely at the clubhouse.

Accommodation: 

Accommodation is likely to be tight, so we suggest booking as early as possible. The schedule has been organised specifically to reduce accommodation conflict as many visitors will be heading back on Australia Day 26th January. One purpose for this combined program is to support people that are interested to see what is on in multiple locations. If you are travelling for work for example there might be an opportunity to hook up with fireball sailors to increase the pleasure of your weekend whilst away from home.

Another purpose is to enable sailors to put plans together for those times they want to commit to participating in fireball events.
