Upcoming Election

As there are two nominations for the Commodore's position a vote will be required to determine who will fill the position for the coming three years.

The election period will be between October 1st and October 30th 2014.

Past Commodore Francois Schluchter has been asked to oversee the process as an independent and will collate the votes.

NCA's in Good Standing and entitled to vote

Please note that for an NCA to be entitled to vote it must be in "good standing".

This means that it has paid its 2014 membership fees ( and all prior years), supplied a list of all paid up members and boats to Andrew and has also supplied an updated list of committee members with their contact details.

Many NCA's have not met all of these criteria at this point in time.

All NCA's are requested to supply this information as soon as possible and to the confirm via email that they are in good standing with Andrew.

This last step is important as your NCA may believe it is in good standing when some information has been received by Andrew but not all the details required.  If in any doubt NCAs should send Andrew an email to clarify the position..

We want all NCA's to have the votes they are entitled to so please ensure your NCA is in good standing now.

The number of votes an NCA in good standing is entitled to is determined by the number of members they had as at 31st December 2013.  Please refer to the constitution to see how the votes are assigned.
