Fireball "Full Flaps Down" was built by Kim Snowball in Adelaide in 1981 for the World Championships which were held in Frankston in early 1982. She has had about 5 seasons' sailing and has spent the rest of the time essentially mothballed. She is currently stored in She is built entirely using Klegecell Foam and S-Glass. She still has much of her original fit out. This includes a Needlespar mast and Ray Brown sails (which were copies of the then current Musto and Hyde sails). She is configured for Vang Sheeting with a Loveday Loop to centre boom sheeting (as was the vogue in the 80's). She is using a spinnaker bow tube. Accompanying trailer is not fit for long trips. Karl would be happy to organise delivering her to a new home if there is someone wanting to try out the class and willing to take on the renewal project. Would require work on the fit out and addition of a trailer and dolly to make the boat comparable with currently sailing fireballs.
