The fireball fleet reconvened for a late summer open meeting at BlackWater Sailing Club. 18 boats made the journey and were greeted with a warm welcome and the prospect of some some close racing in the blackwater estuary. Read More >

The members of the FI Executive who were present in Bracciano had a meeting to review and discuss a number of subjects including the future schedule of international regattas. There had been a prospect of going to Mauritius for a Worlds under a similar initiative to the Barbados Worlds of 2010, but that prospect has receded to the extent that it is no longer an option. The following report is the proposal up to 2016. A revision to the format of the two week Worlds has been suggested and will be adopted for Slovenia. This is an attempt to reduce the amount of leave that will be required to do a Worlds event. Read More >
