Fireballs, 505s and FDs were hosted by Portarlington Sailing Club for a friendly and fun joint set of State Championships.
The BYO BBQ dinner on Saturday evening provided an excellent meal and great opportunity to catch up with friends across the fleets. Camping at the next door Portarlington camp ground made life very easy

The camaraderie across the fleets was a good experience and the fleets hope to continue to leverage our combined strengths to hold shared regattas again next season. As some fun, the challenge was laid for who performed best overall across the fleets using Australian Sailing handicaps to provide a cross fleet score. This year the 1st and 2nd places when to FDs. So we will have to pull out our fingers as a fleet in future events ;)
